Responsibilities: Operate and maintain electric and gas kilns firing from cone 5 - 10. Conduct rigorous testing of new ceramic products to evaluate performance, application, and firing compatibility, ensuring customer satisfaction and product reliability. Collaborate with the product development team to support the creation and refinement of new ceramic materials and offerings. Produce slip cast forms and test tiles for product testing. Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, providing product education, technical guidance, and demonstrations to customers and partners. Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities: Assisted Taylor Sijan with her studio practice in exchange for her knowledge, critiques, and hands-on experience. Maintained a clean, organized, and safe studio. Mixed and tested clay, glazes, underglazes, and slips. Loaded, unloaded, programmed, troubleshot, fixed, and fired kilns. Performed pottery wheel maintenance. Assisted with workshops, pottery tours, and exhibition openings. Performed other tasks as directed by Taylor.
